Save £10 a month
and we’ll add £10 to your child’s savings account.
Let's get there together
To say thank you for downloading our app, we’re offering to give £10 directly into your child’s savings account. All you need to do is commit to a regular contribution of at least £10 a month for 3 months, starting any time in November.
So, after 3 months, your child will have at least £40 in their account and you will be well on your way to saving more for your child’s future.
How does it work?
Log into the app and choose one of your child’s accounts.
Set up a regular contribution of £10 or more.
We’ll pay in £10 to the same account after 3 months.
If you have more than one child, you can repeat this for each of them. The offer applies equally to people who contribute to your child’s account.
So, if you have a friend of family member who wants to contribute £10 a month or more for 3 months, your child will receive another £10 from us.
At Offspring, our mission is to help families in the UK save more for their children. We want to encourage positive savings behaviours, like saving a small amount regularly, in order that your children get the start they need in life.
We mean what we say. Let’s get there together.
Yes. Every time someone sets up a regular contribution of £10 or more a month into your child’s savings account, we will contribute £10 to that same account after 3 months.
So get the whole family involved!
The offer is valid for the whole of November 2019. To be eligible, a regular contribution must be set up and the first payment made in November 2019. That means the last eligible day for a regular contribution to be made is 30 November 2019.
We will pay £10 into your child’s account by 31 January 2020.
For example, if you were to set up your regular contribution on 15 November 2019, we will confirm the 3 monthly direct debits have been paid in to your child’s account and pay £10 into their account no later than 31 January 2020.
We will inform you of any steps you need to take to receive the payment.
In order to comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations, we need to ask you for your photographic ID when you set up your child’s account. Please don’t upload your child’s ID.
Your drivers licence or passport are the easiest documents to use. It only takes a few minutes and you only need to do it once.
Need help getting set up?
Don’t worry if you haven’t finished setting up your child’s savings account yet. We understand that the process can seem a little daunting.
Because we facilitate your payments, we do need to ask for a few details as part of the setup process. We’ve put together a simple explainer video to help you with what to expect when you get started.
